The mandarins are ripening at the Colwell Thundering Herd Ranch and are currently being harvested. The mandarin season will run from December through January. The crop looks to be abundant and very sweet this year as the trees continue to mature and prosper. We had a good crop of persimmons this year and have already sold out of the Fuyu variety. We still have the Hachiya variety available for shipping and ranch pick-up. If you want to come by the ranch, please call us at 916-663-1050. We will be at the Folsom Christmas Festival and the Loomis Christmas Festival on the evening of December 3rd, and all day on December 4th. The ranch will be open on Sunday, December 5th. To place a phone order please call us either at 916-672-7451 or 916-663-1050.
