The Thundering Heard Ranch also sells sweet, seedless Owari Satsuma mandarins and Meyer lemons fresh and handpicked from our trees. Ranch grown Fuyu and Hachaiya persimmons are also harvested and available for sale.

Welcome to the Colwell Thundering Herd Ranch website.The Thundering Herd Ranch, nestled in Penryn in the Foothills of Placer County California, grows mandarin oranges, lemons, naval oranges and limes in a region known for producing some of the finest citrus fruit in the world. Persimmons, apples, plums and kumquats are also grown in our orchard.
